We have on site X-ray and Ultrasound scans available. Where appropriate, you can request your GP or Nurse Practitioner to refer you to our service.

The X-ray service is quick - no appointment necessary. All you need to do is to be referred by an appropriate clinician such as your GP or Nurse Practitioner and present your referral form at the Reception desk. The parking is free and is much more convenient than a trip into the centre of Newcastle.

Due to unforeseen circumstances our x-ray service will only be available on the following days and times:

Saturday 13:00-16:00

Our Ultrasound service is open on a Monday 8:30 - 16:00 and runs on an appointment basis.

If you require an ultrasound you can request for your GP to refer you to our health centre. You will then receive an appointment letter in the post.

For professionals

Please see your Referral Pathways for details on Routine and Urgent X-rays.

Ultrasound scans are only by appointment. Please fax your Ultrasound request to (0191) 295 8522 and the patient will be sent an appointment.
